Beefed-up Aratek lineup featured in China’s biggest security show

Taipei, Oct. 21, 2019 – Global-leading biometric technology company Aratek takes its reinforced suite of offerings to the CPSE 2019, China’s biggest security exposition.

Leading the Aratek lineup is TruFace, the company’s new line of facial recognition terminals seen by industry observers to fortify its already dominant presence in the Chinese market.

“China’s rapid and continuous growth drives innovation in all industries, most especially in security technology, and Aratek is right in the forefront of this,” notes Samuel Wu, Aratek’s VP for Sales, International Business Department. “The CPSE 2019 is the perfect platform for showing the Chinese market how the new TruFace and rest of our superior biometric systems can provide powerful solutions to real-world problems.” Wu said.

Wu explained that TruFace is capable of Live Facial Recognition, a feature made possible by Aratek’s patented TrustFace algorithm. “It’s algorithm-based, meaning the live face detection system is not hardware-dependent. This makes TruFace an inexpensive and reliable solution for many identification and authentication applications,” Wu added.

TruFace terminals are equipped with a built-in HDR dual-camera system that detects ambient lighting levels and then controls the near-infrared LED accordingly, allowing high quality captures in all lighting conditions, whether in a dark room or even in the bright outdoor.

Also on display is Marshall, Aratek’s powerful all-in-one solution that seamlessly integrates registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module, which can be deployed practically anywhere. Completing the suite are Aratek’s wide array of fingerprint-based identification and authentication terminals and modules.

“A growing number of industries are now relying on Aratek’s technology to power a whole sweep of applications – financial services, border control, social welfare distribution, voter registration and authentication, census, SIM card activation, and mobile time and attendance management are just some of them and more will come very soon,” Wu said.

Aratek will be at Booth #1C50. CPSE 2019, which runs October 28 to 31 in Shenzen, has become one of the most influential security events in the world, having served more than 9,700 security companies and 651,741 buyers in the last 30 years.
