Taipei, Oct. 01, 2019 – Global-leading biometric technology company Aratek is set to introduce its new series of facial recognition terminals at the SDW Asia 2019 in Singapore.
The new line will be called TruFace and marks Aratek’s entry into the emerging facial recognition segment of the biometric identification and authentication industry.
“TruFace is the latest in a series of innovations to be hatched as Aratek ramps up its drive to become the go-to provider of superior biometric systems that actually solve customer’s needs,” said Samuel Wu, Aratek’s VP for Sales, International Business Department.
He noted that the Aratek TruFace Series is capable of Live Facial Recognition, a feature made possible by Aratek’s patented TrustFace algorithm. “Since it’s algorithm-based, the live face detection system is not hardware-dependent which makes TruFace an inexpensive and reliable solution for many identification and authentication applications,” Wu added.
The TruFace terminals are equipped with a built-in HDR dual-camera system that detects ambient lighting levels and then controls the near-infrared LED accordingly, allowing high quality captures in all lighting conditions, whether in a dark room or even in the bright outdoors.
Aratek will be at Booth #417, where it will also be displaying its comprehensive suite of fingerprint-based identification and authentication terminals including the Marshall, a powerful all-in-one solution that seamlessly integrates registration, matching, printing, and other functions into one portable module which can be deployed practically anywhere.
“Financial services, border control, social welfare distribution, voter registration and authentication, census, SIM card activation, and mobile Time and Attendance management are just some of the applications that benefit immensely from Aratek’s TruFace and Marshall,” Wu said.
SDW Asia 2019 will be held on October 8 and 9 at the Suntec Convention Centre, Singapore. The trade show has set the benchmark for the government identity industry. This year’s focus is on the application of identity solutions by government, particularly the manufacture, provision and verification of secure citizen credentials – such as passports, driving licenses, visas, eID cards and more.
