Aratek, a global provider of biometric and digital identity solutions, today announced that the newest addition to its Mini Enrollment Kit family has achieved MOSIP compliance and is now listed as a registration device on the MOSIP Marketplace.
The new Mini Enrollment Kit expands Aratek’s MOSIP-compliant enrollment portfolio with a compact configuration designed for identity registration in field locations, space-constrained sites, and other environments where portability and efficient setup are essential.
Housed in a compact IP67-rated hard-case setup, the new Aratek Mini Enrollment Kit brings the essential components of an identity registration workstation together in one protected and deployment-ready configuration.
The kit integrates the Aratek A900 4-4-2 live-scan fingerprint scanner for tenprint capture and the FC300 camera for facial image capture. It also includes a document scanner, an integrated display for managing the registration workflow, and a 3-inch thermal printer for producing registration slips, receipts, or other documentation directly at the point of enrollment.
The A900 is an FBI Appendix F FAP 60-certified and MOSIP-compliant fingerprint scanner designed for reliable 4-4-2 capture in large-scale identity programs. Its IP65-rated enclosure and hardware-level liveness detection further support deployment in demanding registration environments.
By integrating biometric capture, document scanning, workflow management, and on-site printing into a compact protected setup, the Mini Enrollment Kit helps registration teams establish a complete enrollment point with less equipment to transport, arrange, and prepare for operation.

The new MiniE configuration complements the existing Aratek MOSIP Kit, a comprehensive station-based enrollment workstation designed for programs requiring a broader range of biometric and data capture functions.
The Aratek MOSIP Kit combines fingerprint, face, iris, signature, document, and biographic data capture in an IP67-rated hard-case workstation. It also supports extended battery power, on-site printing, and a dual-screen setup that facilitates interaction during registration.
While the station-based MOSIP Kit is designed for comprehensive and high-volume registration workflows, the MiniE Kit provides a more compact configuration centered on fingerprint, face, document capture, and field documentation. Together, the two setups allow project teams to select an enrollment format based on operational conditions, required modalities, available space, transportation needs, and the intended registration workflow.
Identity registration rarely takes place through one deployment model alone. A national program may operate permanent enrollment centers in cities, temporary stations in regional communities, mobile teams in remote areas, and specialized registration points at borders or public service locations.
Aratek addresses these different realities through configurable enrollment solutions rather than a single predetermined kit. Its portfolio extends from ultra-portable backpack-based systems to compact protected kits and full registration workstations. Components, biometric modalities, displays, document capture devices, printing, power options, and protective configurations can be adapted to project specifications and field requirements.
The new MOSIP compliance achievement reinforces Aratek’s continued investment in interoperable biometric technologies and flexible enrollment solutions for national ID, voter registration, border management, civil registration, social protection, and other identity initiatives.
