The Aratek BD8500 is a desktop facial recognition terminal purpose-built for visitor registration and front-desk identity verification. It features dual HDR cameras with LED fill light for fast and accurate facial recognition, alongside an FBI FAP 10 & STQC-certified fingerprint sensor and contactless card reading—all powered by an Android system for easy customization and integration. The BD8500 ensures reliable multi-modal identity registration and verification for every guest, making it ideal for receptions, hotel check-ins, and access points requiring trusted identity capture in a compact, user-friendly form.
The BD8500 runs Aratek’s patented facial recognition algorithm on the built-in dual HDR camera with LED fill light for fast and accurate face verification.
The BD8500 is coupled with a FBI FAP 10 & STQC certified capacitive fingerprint sensor that is also fully compliant with ISO19794-2, ANSI-378 and WSQ standards.
The built-in RFID card reader provides secure contactless card authentication in real-time.
The BD8500 can connect with client databases to monitor, detect and report any entry of blacklisted persons.
The BD8500 supports liveness detection to detect fake/non-real faces and to ensure user presence.
