In 2022, Aratek partnered up with Dunhuang Mogao International Airport to boost health screenings. At the airport, they’ve installed an AratekTruFace facial recognition system to speed up the health check and make passengers safer.
Dunhuang Mogao International Airport is a Chinese airport located in Dunhuang. It is the busiest airport in the western Chinese province of Gansu, with 6,956 take offs and landings in 2021 and 823,491 passengers, representing a growth of 18.06% and 13.59% year on year. The airport's high number of travelers and the fact that children and the elderly aren't proficient at using smart phones to process health QR code checkups are affecting attempts to prevent pandemics. These factors slow down security check and increase cross-contamination, making pandemic prevention harder.
The all-in-one biometric access control and attendance tracking solution
The Aratek TruFace access control system, which combines 8" multifaceted facial recognition terminals with powerful access control software, offers the airport a safe and convenient approach to passenger processing.
The airport has built a special area with fast gates and an Aratek TruFace face recognition system on the first floor of its terminal building. When a passenger arrives at the airport, all they have to do is show their face, swipe their national ID card and health QR code through the facial recognition terminal. The system quickly checks their ID and health information, such as PCR test results and vaccination records, and takes their body temperature to see if they have a fever. The system makes sure that only healthy passengers are allowed into the terminal building.
With the Aratek TruFace access control system, we don't need to worry about cross contamination, and lines move faster than ever.
